ABOUT
NOMENCLATTER is a monthly online publication of creative writing by high school students in the Literary Arts emphasis at Oakland School for the Arts. As a collective expression, we give each issue a theme that focuses our diverse visions and workshop each piece to amplify our individual voices. You may use the magnifying glass icon above to look up the work of a specific writer or search for words and thus find additional thematic connections within NOMENCLATTER.
Nomenclature is a system of names or terms—and so is a story or poem.
Clatter is a chaos of sound—and so is a poem or story.
Add them up and NOMENCLATTER merges order with mess, fuses dissonance to harmony.
(Note that some pieces contain language and/or content that may not be suitable for readers of all ages. Ideas expressed do not represent those of OSA, but we do represent the free expression of ideas. All rights to the work on NOMENCLATTER belong to the respective authors.)
